Franklin County Courthouse closed due to COVID-19

first_imgHAMPTON — The Franklin County Courthouse is closed until next week due to a positive case of COVID-19. County officials made the decision after learning on Monday that a courthouse employee had contracted coronavirus.Franklin County Auditor Michelle Giddings tells KGLO News that the courthouse will be closed for the rest of this week, with a potential soft reopening next Monday and possible full reopening after that. Giddings adds that no courthouse employees are being allowed into the building throughout the rest of the week.People can call any of the county offices and leave a message, but their call will not be addressed until next week when business resumes.last_img read more
